About Mackenzie - Lymphatic Massage Therapist

Mackenzie Thoma, LMT, CMLDT, has been a massage therapist since 2018.  She trained at the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, New York. She has a background in Clinical Health Studies and a Master’s degree in Applied Clinical Nutrition. Her work as a massage therapist is both scientifically grounded and respectful of the body’s innate healing abilities.

Her lymphatic massage approach integrates gentle, evidence-based manual lymphatic drainage, using the Vodder Technique, along with holistic wellness recommendations. These recommendations may include lymphatic self-massage, movement, mindfulness meditation, and nutritional advice to support the body’s detoxification and healing processes.

When providing therapeutic massage, Mackenzie lets intuition and deep presence guide her. Open communication is key in her sessions. She ensures her clients feel comfortable and safe on her table.

Mackenzie provides compassionate care to all body sizes, races, ages, abilities, cultures, genders, and sexualities in her practice and believes that healing happens best in an environment of acceptance and trust. Whether someone is recovering from surgery, navigating lymphedema or swelling, or seeking to feel more balanced and at home in their body, Mackenzie is dedicated to supporting each person’s journey.
